Outlook 2007 problem
I know it's Christmas but I need some advice !!
Got the following message on my screen and am unable to access my E mails via Outlook. (Have reverted to Outlook Express for the time being):
"Cannot start MS Outlook.Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened.Errors have been detected in the file C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst. Quit Outlook and all mail-enabled applications, and then use the inbox repair tool (Scanpst.exe) to diagnose and repair errors in the file. For more information about the Inbox repair tool, see Help."
I've tried reinstalling Office 2007, tried what the message suggests, system restore and Googling the error message, all to no avail.
I would be very, very grateful for any advice/assistance.
TIA

Been asking around and have been told that the problem lies in the .pst file. Has anybody any knowledge of the following application : "Stellar Outlook PST Repair" by Avanquest ?
Don't really want to try it without some sort of recommendation. Bit of a coward me !!
Many thanks
