A couple of weeks ago I had the same trouble with deleted videos. I used Disk Drill and it really restored my video. Try this app (http://www.cleverfiles.com/)
Can't you just restore them from your latest backup?
BACKUP !
When a file or files are deleted on your computers hard drive, they are realy still there, all that happens is a code is put on that part of the hard drive saying its a free space again so a new file in the future could be saved there over it. But more than likely its not done that yet and your files are still there just hidden to you.So this means you can still recover your music files by getting a special program that recovers them. There are many versions out there to buy. disk recovery wizard is one iv used in past. they find allsorts of old files, pictures that have been deleted in the past. The program scans your hard drive just like a virus checker does and can take a few hours if you have a large hard drive. If theres alot of music you have lost then it will be worth it to purchase a file recovery program.
Doesn't anyone back up their data?

Do you have Time Machine running? If so, try that. If not, there's loads of undelete programmes available. Try looking on Google. Of course, the files may have been overwritten by now.
Every minute you use you computer increases the chances those files are being overwritten.

If you had a PC you could download a free program like Recuva to restore deleted files.

Unfortunately, like most things to do with Macs you will probably have to pay for something to do the same job.
I'm unfamilar with Macs but they can't be that different to IBM compatible PCs. In which case if you download applications to find/restore deleted files try not to download them to the disk where the music used to be, and don't install it to that disk either. You don't want to write all over the files you are looking for.
If you don't do backups, you've learned the hard way why you should.

Chalk it down to experience.
I hope you have made full use of Time Machine since you are running Mac OS. Even if you have emptied the Trash, restore from Time Machine and you will get everything back easily. If you didn't back up or forget to do that. Then you may need to opt for some mac data recovery program. Recommend you have a try of Wondershare Data Recovery for Mac ( http://www.wondershar...covery-mac/index.html ). You may also learn more from this hub( http://hubpages.com/h...scue-Lost-Data-on-Mac ) about the right steps to rescue mac data. Regards
