MS install cleanup utility

I know there is a utility in Windows to clean up corrupt product installations

I thought it was msicu or something similar (it "uninstalls" programs when you no longer have the uninstall scripts)

Please will some kind soul remind me what I am looking for

Well, I already have the install package for msicuu2, but even when I have installed it I still can't run msicuu2 from the command prompt?

I need to remove Bonjour from my pc before I can reinstall iTunes, but when I try I am told that the bonjour.msi file I have is not correct

So I was going to use msicuu2 to remove bonjour and try iTunes again

What else can I do??

THAT was a bad idea - I seem to have also uninstalled some part of TCP/IP!!

Lucky for system restore eh?

Click start > run and type type (or copy and paste) the following into the run box and hit enter

%PROGRAMFILES%\Bonjour\mDNSResponder.exe” -remove

Then click start > run again and enter this into the run box and hit enter.

regsvr32 /u “%PROGRAMFILES%\Bonjour\mdnsNSP.dll”

Now delete the bonjour folder from program files and try reinstalling itunes.
