Hi,

I know computers come equip with wireless capabilities, but, if one should use an external wireless adapter, dongles etc. would the computer wireless features still work? Would the bandwidth increase? Would there be any differences or none at all?

I don’t know or understand much about this stuff so bare with me if these questions are silly.

Thanks all! x

Basically (without going into specialised setups) you can't really use more than one connection to the internet at a time. on a single computer

So if you were to plug a usb dongle into a computer that already had a wireless connection active then the computer would only use one of the connections, which one it uses depends on which connection has the highest priority and can be set by changing the binding order of the adaptors.
