How do I scan ?

I have a Cannon printer.

Can you tell me how to put a photo from printer to computer please ? In lay mans language.

Well generally you don't scan on a printer, you'll need a scanner to scan (there is a clue in the name)

Assuming you actually mean you have a cannon printer and scanner then use the cannon software that came with the printer.

Lift the lid.
Place photo on glass (in correct corner).
Either a) press appropriate button on machine, or, b) use the Start button in bottom left-hand corner of your computer screen and select correct programme from pop-out menu.

It sounds as if it thinks it should be searching for a camera memory/flash card.
Tell it that it needs to look for the 'scanner'..........

I find that pointing at the scanner-bed and shouting "There, you stupid bloody thing" often has no effect whatsoever...........:o)
