Menu on a web site

I am trying to set up my own web site and want to do a drop down menu thing.

When you go onto a lot of web sites they seem to have a bar along the top and when you hover over it, it then brings up other options to go where you want within the web site.

I am using WYSIWYG, but can't find anything within it to do this.

Firstly does anyone know the name of the bar thing? and could anyone recommend a free oe that I can import and use?
