Presuming you have the Powerpoint program (not just the player)... What format are you saving the file as, presentation, show, template or other??

as a show ....i can receive emails with music ok
I am not sure I understand dosset. Music has to be embedded in the powerpoint file when it is made. It won't play until the file is played, with a powerpoint player.
If you want music with an email you need to embed that music in your mail client (outlook express etc.). Once your mail is ready to send go to the format tab and select background/music. This will ask where the music is located on your comp etc.

sorry to take so long getting back.
i can make a power point show with music and whilst still in powerpoint view the show and music will play.. if i then save show as a file and try to send as email only the show will be sent not the music or sometimes the email will not go because music is to long if you see what i mean

had a look at format tab selecting background only brings up colours looks like ..insert/movies/sounds on my prog
You can only embed .WAV files, if you are using MP3 files then power point just links the the original file so the only way you could send it via email would be to put the power point presentation and the MP3 file into the same folder and then zip the folder up and send the zip file.
