MSN problems

When I chat with my friend on MSN by video I can hear her but she can't hear me. She has spoken to someone else with no problems . We have never had problems before . I have checked my mic & speakers in the settings & they seem to work . Any help pls

Have you used the mic setup wizard to test the sound and set it up?
Look in Sounds and Audio Devices under 'Voice' tab.
