I ask a serious question (serious to me anyway) and get a smart asss answer from bednobs (gender not revealed). There is no firkin manual thats why I'm asking for help, please.
sorry JM (i am a girl by the way) I made a massive assumption that you are a bloke therefore you either see it as unmanly to read the manual or just press buttons till something happens. I am of course judging you by mr b's standards of "instructions are for wimps" :)
Anyway, what make and model is it? Could you put the details into google and download the manual?
As ever, if you actually revealed what TV you got it would help people answer you.
As it is nobody has a clue if it's wired or wireless to start with. if it's wired simply plug it in using an Ethernet cable, if it's wireless look through the menus for something to do with wireless.
In fairness to Janzman, we got a new TV recently that says I should be able to watch YouTube on it but after reading the manual cover to cover can I find any explanation as to how to make this happen? Can I chufty.
I have an internet connected tv ( Sony). The manual is miniscule and really only covers the wiring info and stuff that has to be printed by law.
The actual manual is on the tv.
It was as easy to connect to my wifi as any pc or smartphone once I found the instructions on the online manual. It has its own button on the remote control, clearly shown in the printed manual.
Also very easy to set up the FaceBook, Twitter, YouTube apps.
