Google...messing around again

I had just got used to the horrid black nav bar...and even resigned to having the blue G+ wotsit but this morning I find the black bar has morphed into a huge black rectangle at left of the screen..mmm....click on the more button and get lots of pretty buttons to press...click the even more and the screen fills with the da.....ned things...why can't Google let me have a nice simple screen like it used to be..Grrr....

This is on Google.co.uk but not on Google.com at the moment...but don't hold your breath;

Any thoughts guys....?

....not appearing on mine.....I've refreshed the browsers and everything....but I agree, Google should never change anything, it's fine as it is.

assuming that you have google as your home page then - and this is only a suggestion - do any seaches using the search box in the toolbar and use another site as your home page

Such as the answerbank, I've heard it's very good.

RE: Google's new interface. I am with you on this, I enjoyed the simplicity of the black bar, this seems much more chunky and less intuitive.

You'll have to look at what they've done to YouTube Too!

I've had the black box occasionally, but as soon as I click on the prompt to type something it morphs straight back into the black bar. I don't really know what's going on there.

But aside from the blue and black bars, the Google homepage is the simplest it's been since about 1999.

...and the word Google above it toggles it on and off.....gets better...this link will show what I mean to those unfortunates (?) who haven't had the pleasure..;-)
