Ebay - winner doesn't want the item.
3 Answers
Hi
I've just sold a xbox 360 game on ebay, but the winning bidder has emailed me saying they don't want the game because they already have it. What are my options in this case, this hasn't happened to me before, i only sell on there every few months. Do i start an unpaid item dispute? do i have to pay final auction fees for this item?
Thanks

you will have to wait a few days but report them for non payment
you will get a refund or you can cancel transaction and relist

You can just click the option against your item listing to cancel the transaction. You have to explain (from a list of options) why you are cancelling and want to relist - you will get your final seller fee credited from eBay.
You only open an unpaid item dispute if the buyer is going to pay, which they are obviously not in this case.
If there was someone bidding against your (non-)buyer, once eBay has agreed to cancel the winning bid then you can offer the item to the second highest bidder, to see if they still want it.
