Has any expats installed 'Expat Shield' to watch UK TV abroad, and if so is it hassle-free?

Thanks guys, I have just installed it and it looks like a great asset. I haven't explored it fully yet, but I suppose it is possible to download a programme onto a DVD to watch elsewhere, is that correct please?
I have never tried, so no comment. If you are really keen and have an iPad, download the iPlayer app (about £50 pa) you have access to a vast library of BBC archive, which you can watch anywhere you like.

Never tried it - we have a spare computer hooked up to the TV via HDMI and just use it to watch stuff on iPlayer etc.
I hope our foreign friends are buying a UK TV licence ....
I have a Slingbox hooked up to my Virgin system that I use without guilt when I am abroad because I am paying both the tv licence and the Virgin bill even when I'm not at home to watch it.

Slingbox is fantastic.
