I have had an email from Amazon, inviting me to be an on-line worker.

Does anyone know what is entailed, and if this is real or a scam ?

I have copied this to the Chatterbank.

Never heard of this. I would ask some serious questions.

Why would amazon, a massive international company, email you at random offering a job when all other work is advertised on their site.

The fact that no details have been supplied suggests there is a link for you to follow for more details

It has all the hallmarks of a scam and I would stay well clear.
Was it addressed to you personally - I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have been, so I'd say SCAM
The easiest way to check is to hover over any links that are in the email. Do they point to the real Amazon site or something like www.amazon.ok.com
