come up full screen instead of half size?

One way is to increase the size each time by pressing Ctrl and + simultaneously until it's the required size. There are other ways too

Or just maximise it if it's minimised.
I can't immediately remember how to make it come up maximised every time

I am on IE and if I close down with a full screen, when I switch on again I get the full screen

Open the website. Place cursor at right hand edge to create a double arrow and then drag to the edge of screen. Repeat process on left, top and bottom. When you now close the website it will retain settings and open full screen next time - hopefully

A slight variation here on my earlier answer. Try this

Grab the sides of the page, twin arrows will appear, then drag to fill the screen. Click File and Exit or use the X while holding Ctrl key.
