Google won't search in Firefox
7 Answers
If I start typing a search topic in the centre pane of Google, it immediately bounces to the upper window leaving a blank white area below.
When I hit 'search', the page (which would normally be filled with search results) just remains white with a small 'x' in the bottom left where it would normally say 'done'.
TIA for any suggestions.

Weird - if I type in my search topic (eg "cars") I get the blank page, if however I then click on the "Images" tab - results appear then if I click back to the "Web" tab - I get what I was looking for in the first place (ie. normal search results).
It's as if my "home" Google page isn't the default web search.
