Can anybody please help with what happened today?
Videos play fine by using Internet Explorer - they dont play on Chrome.
I installed a Java update this morning about 7am & the last box showed that it had installed successfully so clicked Finish.
I'm using Windows 7 on a 64 bit laptop.
Since finding that I can't use Chrome for videos, I've uninstalled the latest Java & reinstalled it using IE.
Currently on Chrome, I can't even properly use the Java or Adobe Flashplayer sites for downloading their content because of page crashes with a box that finally says "Aw - page unresponsive."
I need to resolve this as most of my favourites are on Google Chrome.
All suggestions please.

Try removing Adobe Flash Player Plug-in from the list of installed programs, restarting your computer, and reinstalling Flash Player. (Use Chrome if you can; otherwise use any browser).

If that doesn't work, try an 'on top' installation of Chrome (i.e. without uninstalling it first). , I'd expect that to retain your bookmarks but, to be on the safe side, I'd advise exporting them to an HTML file first (so that you re-import them if they went missing).

If that doesn't work, consider uninstalling Chrome (after exporting your bookmarks!!!) and reinstalling again.

If you've still got problems, export your bookmarks and then import them into an alternative browser (such as Firefox).
The best option is to uninstall google chrome from your control panel and trying to install it once again.
Update your "Browser", Disable "Google Integrated Shock-wave Flash Player", Download Registry Cleaner Like Am Using "RegInOut", Test "Incognito Mode", Disable "Plugins From Browsers" and Re-install "Shock-wave Flash Player".

Thanks
