Help BT have just told me that my email address will no longer work as I am no longer with them, unless I pay £1.60 a month for the privilege. I have a gmail address but what is the quickest way of informing all my contacts that my email has changed help please.

Send all your contacts an e mail from your google e mail address informing them of your new e mail address under the BCC e mail option.

Personally, I would advise your keeping present E/mail address and pay BT the monthly charge. Then, when your present ISP's contract ends. switch back to BT by negotiating a really good deal to fully meet your requirements.

I admit to being somewhat biased towards BT with whom I have always been and cannot find any firm that is better.

Thank you both for you replies. Like British Gas I had a bad experience with BT and will not go back to them but thank you for the link which looks useful
