If I Take Internet Explorer Off My Pc
and just use F/Fox instead, as IE is very slow, and trying to type is a nightmare especially on A/B which I have mentioned before on here.
If I do, will I lose any information whilst I used it?

However that is not necessary since you can install and run as many different browsers as you want because they are separate programs and no one of them precludes the others. So simply forget about IE, install Firefox and start using that (initially it will ask if you want to import bookmarks from IE).

Thanks methyl, I have a 'disused' copy of Chrome on my machine and performance issues I've been wanting to clear up for months. Thanks for mentioning that.
@trt
I find Firefox has a problem with downloading programs from BBC iPlayer (the link changes colour when clicked but the download alert box fails to appear). If I switch to IE, the download works straight away.
Abilty to switch to another browser is great for deducing whether it's a website problem or a browser-specific problem.

@trt,
Ah. The answer I gave was to get you the equivalent of a google toolbar. (It's kind of built-in with the navigation toolbar, as you can now see).
I think what you meant was how to get IE Favourites (called "Bookmarks" in FF) imported into FF.
I can't remember ever bothering with that and just built up a fresh set of Favourites by bookmarking as I went. Used google to relocate any sites I couldn't remember the URL for.
Sorry!
