Uninstalling Internet Explorer will take your laptop back to the previous edition of the browser which was in your OS. 1. Click: Start->Control Panel->Programs and Features. 2. Click (on left) View installed updates. 3. Scroll down and locate the update called Windows Internet Explorer 10. 4.Click the item and then click Yes to uninstall
Not in a position to check at present; I just recall that in the not so distant past I needed to go back a version or two on IE only to find the latest versions were integrated with Windows and could not be uninstalled. I recall the solution was to go to the Control Panel and find the IE service and disable it. If you are not knowledgeable that you know where to look and experiment, then I think we'll need to await a post from someone who is au fait with the procedure.
You haven't said what OS you are using. If you are using Win 7 or 8 or 8.1 you have to now use IE 11 by default. If you are using Vista IE10 is the default if you are using XP which you shouldn't be by now IE8 is the default. If your browser goes back to IE10 it is probably the correct one for your OS.
