Just transferred from O2 to Sky broadband. Although they have sent me a Sky hub I still have the O2 router which is working fine. The transfer has all gone through without any problems. I've noticed no change in my broadband 9still 2.67 mbs!)Do I need to change my router to the Sky one as it is working without changing the. Are there any actual advantages of using the sky hub rather than 2 router (eg faster speed, security etc)or should I just keep it until my o2 router breaksdown?

How old is the O2 router?

If it is quite old it may only be a "G" router for wi fi, whereas the Sky one will probably be an "N" router which will provide a stronger wi fi signal.
