Talktalk Youview Box
From the very start I haven't been 100% happy with this really but at least at the beginning I could watch on demand. Now every time I try to go back to watch something I have missed it says 'Can't connect to internet' but it is! I have tried all the usual things like pushing all the plugs in tight and turning it all off and back on again and if I ring the helpline I can never understand what they are saying. I paid extra at the time to have a router put in my lounge rather than all the wires coming from another room, if a technician comes out it is a £50 charge if it turns out to be my fault not their box. I will be glad when my 2 yr contract runs out in August. Any ideas anyone?

One thing to try, if not already:
Check your box is connected to your network. To do this, press the YouView button 'Y', then go to Settings > Network & Internet. If the Wired Connection is set to AUTO and the Network Connection Status is showing DISCONNECTED, attempt to re-connect by selecting Wired Connection from the menu, selecting NEXT and press the OK button. If the device connects, return to the service you were using.

Pips, have exactly the same problem. In the end I asked my son to disconnect the whole thing so I could at least watch normal TV stations. Still under contract so basically paying through the nose for nothing. Paid for an additional connection so my router could stay in the hall but still a total mess. Aaarrrhhhh!
