Unable to open AnswerBank on IE - anyone else having similar problems?

Which version of IE are you using? (Go to Help>About to check). Microsoft were telling users of IE7 (where the problem was known to occur) that upgrading to IE8 should fix the problem (as, allegedly, it doesn't occur in IE8):

Of course that won't help much if you're already using IE9 or 10 but letting us know which version you're using would be a good starting point. (It might also help to know your OS, such as Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8).

Thanks Buenchico and boxtops - am using IE8, Windows XP

For me AnswerBank only works with Firefox; don't usually use IE but tried it tonight and no luck. Other websites work fine on IE.

Very wise - but if you want to stop the problem occurring in IE8 go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security tab -> select Internet -> click the Custom Level -> disable Active scripting and Scripting of Java applets.
