I use MiFi to connect to my laptop and wife's tablet.Reception is excellent at our caravan, however lately my laptop keeps disconnecting whilst the Tablet is OK.I'm assuming that it's my laptops internal wireless connection thats playing up.Would plugging in an Edimax wireless nano USB adapter be the answer to a better and more reliable connection.

Before proceeding any further, try resetting the TCP/IP on your laptop. (It's often the cause of dodgy connections). Don't worry - it's a lot easier than it sounds! http://www.windows-secrets.co.uk/2013/08/repair-the-windows-87vista-tcpip-stack/

Thanks Buenchico and Fiesata for your replies.

i have reset the TCP/IP without any problems so I will see how things go from now on. However, I have read such good reports about the Edimax and as they are quite cheap i have ordered one from amazon.Again thanks guys.
I use a Edimax wireless nano whatsit and I am very pleased with it. My router is two flights downstairs and yet I am getting 38 mega pixies, all the time.
