Can't Re-Install Adblock Plus

Inadvertently disabled it and now when I try to re-install in IE the pop-up at the bottom asks if I want to run, saying how it can harm etc. but when I press run nothing happens. Is something trying to prevent it from installing.
I'm now smothered in ads again slowing everything down.

Why not uninstall it, then install it again.

I agree with Pete, you will need to take it off your computer altogether and then re-install.

Thanks, that's what I have done (shouldn't have said disabled) I have completely uninstalled it and somehow something seems not to want me to re-install.
When I click on run, nothing happens

try a reboot then install

Long shot but right click and run as administrator ?

Go into Windows explorer and in program files delete any folder marked adblock
