Huawei E5220 Mifi

I have been using my mobile Wi-Fi successfully now for over 2 years. However, lately when I switch on my laptop it doesn't connect to the internet unless I witch off the Wi-Fi and then switch it back on. Can anyone explain this..

I have the same Huawei device.

I normally turn off the laptop, wait, and then turn off the Huawei.

To turn on, I turn on the Huawei and wait until the status lights indicate it is connected to the phone network and the internet.

Only then do I turn on the laptop.

No problems to date.

Sometimes is full re-set is necessary.

My problem still persists,every morning I have to restart the MiFi to enable connection to PC.I have followed instructions already given .Could it possible be that it's on it's way out and I need a new one. It is 30 months old.
