Pop-Upadverts.

Could someone please tell me how to get rid of pop-up adverts at the side of my emails and also when I am on the internet itself.

I have an Apple Mac desktop computer.

If you are on Safari which is the default browser on Mac computers click on Safari Extensions and you will find AdBlock. Follow instructions to install - no more adverts.

First, check if your computer is infected by adware or malicious add-on. If you find that there is suspicious program or add-on, remove them. Or you can downlaod a ad-block tool to stop them.

Today's Telegraph reports that adblockers are blocking more that just ads. Has anyone experienced this?

If you use Yahoo as your email client the is an addon call "yahoo mail hide advert panel" ( catchy name Eh ).

I think that issue tends to be more with pop up blockers rather than ad blockers per se.
