I dont know how to make them smaller ?

Picture programmes can allow you to reduce picture size. Save as something smaller.

Alternatively pass them via a hosting site rather than try to attach them in your e-mail.

You may have windows accessories/paint. Not used it for ages but I'm sure it should be able to resize if you play with it and get used to how to change things. There are better picture type programmes you can download but others will know the best for a beginner.

You register an account, upload the pictures there and tell your friends where they are so that they can download them.
