I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

We dont get our street cleaned either as it's a rough lane. Yes leaves are dangerous a are fallen algroba beans. They are everywhere and lethel. Even after a parade for The Kings or NYear about half an hour after the blast float has gone they are out sweeping up the glitter and streamers. It quite run the mood.
Oh no woofy. That's sounds awful. Get it all out.of the way before Xmas! Hope you are feeling better now.
Yes I need a automatic tree but look at that price!!
I love that tree Woofy. Fatal for me though as I would take command of the remote and annoy the hell out of everyone by making it go up and down all the time.I'm easily pleased :) Hope you soon feel better
Dreary old mizzly drizzly day here. I must get myself into gear and start Christmas.I know where the trees are but can't find the box of other stuff. I bet it's in the loft !
We get loads of leaves here too. There's lots of trees in the park and all the leaves seem to blow this way and into the drain at the side.
Hope the rest of you are all OK.
Went to Lidl Aldi and Tesco today. Not much in tesco dont know why we bother. Bought quite a bit in Lidl and nothing in Aldi.
Had nails done today a metallic black cherry colour with a star on one nail. We are having a day out tomorrow for a look round and lunch but ive already picked Burger King. Think Mr N not too pleased so we'll see!
Weather also said 16° but everyone was nestled up in anorak and hats and scarves.
Hope you are surviving!
hello all, norwalk esque gone away but I think I have got a filling crumbling...managed to get an appointment christmas week but I really HATE the dentist. Had bad experiences as a child and it never really goes away...just got to be brave though. On the upside all the parcels are wrapped and my sisters family's lot (middle sis) go off on monday. That tree.....I'd like to have a party and get everybody tipsy then start making the tree grow and shrink!
KBO everyone.

jno jnr has tested positive. He should have stopped isolating by Christmas but we'll have to see if his wife's caught it. She's rushed out in search of a booster. Fortunately we saw her this week but not him so we should be safe(ish)
Oh no jno. Does he feel ok? We now have 541 cases when a month ago we had none. Went to Burger King and had to show Covid QR code before they would serve us. Mr Ns worked a treat on the machine mine of course didnt! So he used his phone and all ok. ( wonder if he took my number. Ooeer!)
Went for a lovely walk round figuerettes (next door to Ibiza town) had to go to Lidl as the cats had run out of food and so I also got a suedette type bomber jacket there. Doesnt worry me where it comes from. Now of course the cats prefer Lidl food even though I got dog pate instead! Without my glasses I cant tell what the animal is!!
Hope the jnrs are ok and of course you can babysit little O now! OH must be extra careful!!

he's good as gold, neti, says it feels like a mild cold. But we can't go babysitting - he's there while we do it as he's WFH, so we just hope neither Mrs jj nor wee O have picked it up. If they have, that may be the family Christmas dinner up the spout. (We can still visit sis but they might not be able to. Which would be a nuisance because I prefer him to drive, so I can drink!)
oh dear blooming nuisance but for all your sakes I hope it only stays a nuisance.
Oh dear jno of course I meant you can not go babysitting now ( and I thought I had typed it so well!)

The sun on the Mediterranean sea today. To cheer you all up!
Question Author
oh my, that is nice, neti. We do have sunny days but that usually means they're freezing as well. And sometimes after heavy rain the sun sparkles like that on the water lying on our lawn...
Hello all
I'm sorry to hear junior has covid Jno. I hope he soon feels better and none of the rest of you get it. Best stay safe and you can always have a Christmas lunch after Christmas.
The Med looks lovely Neti. From the bit of the North Sea I can see from the front bedroom window it looks anything but sparkling. It's milder here but dull and dank. Sparkling indoors though, found the decorations and spent today spreading some Christmas cheer round the place. Mr S just smiles and shakes his head as I try to get all the snow globes going at once. KBO folks. Night all.

oh well, Mrs jj has had her booster and is testing negative every day, so that's something. On the other hand, baby O has a cold. I'm a bit doubtful about this. These days, most colds in London are actually Covid

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/dec/15/londoners-with-cold-symptoms-more-likely-to-have-covid-expert-omicron

Unless she's been out roaming the streets at night I don't know who she could have picked up a cold from. But I do know someone she could have got Covid from.
Poor baby O
Hopefully its just a cold which is distressing enough. We are told here mow taht if we have flu symptoms and have had all jabs then we have to take a covid test (€8 from chemist) and act accordingly.
Mr N has his booster today!
Question Author
I've still never had a test. It helps that I haven't got a phone so nobody can ping me.
They tried that ping thing here but none of us installed it so it was useless.
Hello from a very damp and Dark España!
We are waiting to her if hija is coming for xmas. She wants too but also wants to go to a party on night of 25th. Xmas day is not the same here. We dont mind either way.
Mr N has just made honeyed chicken wings and spicy nachos. And a sponge cake for me which I have just iced with fondant icing. Love his cakes. Am.off for a bath and the. New pjs and watched something in bedroom. Any Netflix recommendations?
How are the jnrs coping?
Hope you are all well and staying safe. Big sis has cancelled her xmas jaunt to her son's in gloucester and daughter in law now has covid. The island here appears.to be riddled with it. Wont be long before another lockdown which wont affect us much but it's awful for those young families who live in apartments as lots of the Spanish do! Stay safe!
Question Author
the streets of London seem very quiet at the moment, neti, nobody wants to catch Omicron and be isolating for Christmas (or to be attacked by marauding crowds of antivaxers). jno jnr is still locked in his bedroom but should be given his freedom about the 22nd if all goes well, and wife and child seem to be okay. So do sis and husband, so we may yet have a family Christmas, and in December too.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Jno.
It's all a bit deja vu isn't it.
Dull and foggy here ,chilly.Pickys have had boosters so hopefully will be here for Christmas dinner.I hope so because I'm not cooking rib of beef and all the rest of it just for the two of us!
I watched Unforgivable with Sandra Bullock recently Neti and Little Women was pretty good.I'm watching City Homicide on Prime atm
Keep well folks and stay a bit cautious.
