Mind Spark?

I just did a scan on my laptop, windows 10, with Malware Bytes (free version) and it came up '54 PUP, optional. mind Spark, non malware detected' I set it to ignore once, but don't know what it means and what I should do now? Rosy

Sometimes when you download and install a program from the internet (that you DO want) other programs (that you probably DONT want) can be installed as well.

These small program may place adverts on your computer or do other things that are not exactly harmful but you may not want them.

Mind spark is one company who do this sort of thing which is why it has been highlighted as a pup.

If you know why the indicated programme is on your PC, and you want to keep it, then tell Malwarebytes to ignore it. Otherwise best removed; better safe than sorry.

Thank you all for your very helpful replies :o) I have zapped it (hopefully) no idea how it got on my laptop but feel happier now,knew I could rely on AB, cheers Rosy
