Yahoo Out, Google In.

When I put something in the search window of my PC, instead of going to Google it opens with Yahoo, and I want my Google back ! How do I go about it, please.

I am on Windows 7 with Firefox.

I've been to 'Options' - 'Search' and Google is shown as my default search engine but it always opens with Yahoo !! Help !

I have Google on my bookmarks bar and if any other search engine pops up I just open it from there.

Thanks, jno. I've already tried that link you've provided and Google is shown as my default search engine. Trouble is that when I do a search, lo and behold it's ruddy Yahoo and not Google ! A complete mystery.

Done it, but not sure how.
My default search engine was boxed as 'Google', but hidden below was ' Google (Default)' and when I selected it all became well and peace reigned at last. Time for a stiff whisky !
