Undelivered Mail Returned To Sender
I'm having difficulty sending emails to a friend in France; normally I have no problem with this, but I've now had 4 attempts over 3 days, the message says;
'For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster.'
but who is the postmaster? it gives no address.

So the problem almost certainly lies at 'the other end', meaning that there's nothing you can do about it yourself other than, say, phoning the friend and asking him to check his email settings (or simply getting him to create a new email account with a different provider).
