Anyone know where i can pick it up? Does central reference library for instance offer free wifi?

Have been in starbucks etc but it's extautionate

Also what's the range of a typical wifi connection - someone said 500m but this sounds absurd

There is hardly any free wifi in the UK.

Apple stores provide it for their Mac customers.

You can use free internet at any UK library that has the facilities, but as far as I know not by wifi.

The range is roughly 150 feet indoors, more outdoors, but it is dependent on your router.

this will look for Wi-Fi and tell you if you can use it or not.
