Youtube video removal

Hi i used to have about 4 videos from the band Sleeper on my favourites on youtube, and now they've all done, they were posted by different users and now when i search Sleeper or any of the song names i get no videos for the band, could these videos have been removed because of the japanese lawsuit?

If it's coprighted material then legally it shouldn't have been there.

I cannot see the problem. I just searched on YouTube and found a load of videos by Sleeper (the 90's indie band fronted by Louise Wener)
