Does anyone know where to download music for free or cheaply. I'm not particularly interested in chart stuff. Mainly sixties and seventies (just given away my age there!). I'm not very computer friendly so I want a site I can trust. Most seem to charge 0.79 a track which means its cheaper to buy a CD. Many thanks. BB

If its free music that you are looking for, then download Limewire from here -

Once it has downloaded and installed, you should have no problems finding the songs that you are after.

Be aware Limewire could fill your computer with all kinds of nasties unless you use the paid version.I personally use u-Torrent.

Mac70 - I've used Limewire for a number of years with no problems what-so-ever.

You can search for Limewire Pro once you have installed the basic Limewire and download that for free aswell.
