displaying pics

Hi ...I suddenly find that Firefox won't show pics on some pages.....notably eBay...No such problem with Internet Explorer which is normal.........I've tried all the different settings but am stumped. Anyone else had this problem? It MAY be since I updated Firefox a few days ago but not sure.

What extensions have you downloaded?

Right click on a space where you KNOW a picture should be displayed.

Do you get an option to display the picture?

..mm....yes I do and selecting that opens the pic in it's own window....IE view and Streetmap are the only addons I have downloaded and I have had these for some time. I must stress it is only SOME sites which are affected.........thanks for your interest.

On the right click menu, do you get the option to unblock?

If so, click that and it should solve your problems.

If not, I'll have another think!

Hi again......Actually in eBay I get a rectangle where the pic should be with an icon in the top left corner..right click on this and I get the option to view the image also to BLOCK the image in eBay...........it's as though the image is there but just not displaying.

would uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it help I wonder?

..OK Ethel.......seems like it was a relic from taking Firefox up to Version 2.0...........Tools Options Content has a checkbox for Load images automatically and though it was checked I had to uncheck it and recheck it......... that has cured the no display problem. Got that from Googling around the web. Not sure if it is a bug or what but it did the trick and I'm now a happy bunny...<G>
