Router problems

Hi all. My PC is on most of the time. The problem i have is that after a couple of hours without using it (usually overnight), the internet connection completely goes down and i have no connection at all. The only way of getting it back is to restart the computer. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks. PM.

You may have an 'idle time out' setting in your router.

Yeah, the router is wired directly to my PC. And i cant see any idle time setting on the router... There doesnt seem to be any pattern to it.
