Transferring files

Hi all - I need to set up a way of easily transferring files over the net to my friend. We dont really want to use MSN. Is there anyway? Tried installing IIS on XP Pro and setup a FTP server, but that was too much faffing around. Something so i can type in his IP, and drag and drop the file would be nice. Any ideas?

What about Windows Netmeeting - Click Start > Run and type in the box conf . Should do exactly what you want to do.

I'd also recommend going down the tightVNC path (or similar app).

Make sure you set a very strong password on your friend's computer though; you don't want just anyone getting in!

Yep, I'm in agreement, VNC or maybe Pando for the novelty factor??
