My cousins have always lived in Shrewsbury. We come up for the Shrewsbury Flower Show every August. Have you ever been. We drink loads of booze and have a picnic at the end watching the fireworks.

I used to love the flower show!!! My mum used to buy us the Members tickets so we had unlimited access all weekend. I have not been since I had the boys but would love to go again. what area do your cousins live in if you dont mind me asking?

They used to live in Langholme Drive but bought a house together a few years ago in the Mount Pleasant area.

I love Shrewsbury. Had some good nights out there!!

I used to go to the Shrewsbury flower show too before I moved away (grew up there).

Used to love going to see the fireworks, we used to go an sit on the big hill over th river facing the Quarry and watch them from there.

My cousins have done that in the past when they havn't gone to the actual show. He he!!!

Erm......no haha.

We'd normally get just a day ticket and mum would never come to the show whereas we all went for the fireworks so we'd end up sitting on the hill watching them and waiting for them to set the cannons off.

I used to go to college right next to the Quarry, used to go and sit in the park at lunchtime and in breaks when it was nice :)

When we go and visit we go to The Bellstone and The Armoury mostly.

My aunt is friendly with Juliet Chilton and works in her shop occasionally in town. They sell really nice furniture, candles and things.

Its a lovely place I would like to live there myself.

HI all thank you for your input - sorry it's late in replying I sort had had a problem with my computer last night downloading dodgy tunes that had a nasty surprise attached. I also got a bit pie eyed on my nice bottle of wine.

We used to do that with the fireworks too if we didnt have the tickests. The thistles and cow poop were a bit of a pain lol...
