Domain name providers

Could someone recommend a good but cheap doamin name provider? I don't need hosting, just domain names. I'm after a .org.uk and a couple of .co.uk names. I gather 123-reg.co.uk used to be good but went a bit crap last year, so any recommendations?

We use www.telivo.com - domains cost �5 for two years. You can control DNS and webhosting (if bought) from their contol panel.

i have purchased names from 1and1.co.uk - less than �5 for two years for a .co.uk

The only trouble is that if you are redirecting, you can't redirect to a page - only a site - so you can redirect to www.theanswebank.co.uk but not www.theanswerbank.co.uk/law

I used 123-reg.co.uk earlier this year without any problems
