I would like to move my computer unit to other side of the room .The only way I can do this is by using the appropriate extensions leads advertised..By doing this will it make any difference what I mean is will it not slow down anything. Thanks.

It won't make any difference to your computer speed. Just make sure that any network cable ie to your modem or telephone socket is NOT lying next to a power cable.

I recently moved my PC from one room to another and used a 12 metre Cat 5 cable. It has made no difference at all.
