Firstly, I want to apologise about my thread last night, had a bad day etc etc, but still not right for me to be as I was. So sorry about that.. But thanks for all who cheered me up. I also have a question I posted in tech about removing info from my google bar. OK, I looked at a (naughty) site! given to me from someone at work. It was a rubbish site anyway, but cant get rid of it when I scroll down lol. Can you help me pleese

Click on Tools -> Options
Click on the Privacy tab
Click on settings to check and uncheck what you want to clear.
Check saved form and search history
Click OK.
Click Clear Now.
No she never did get rid of her history
If my previous posting doesn't work, do this:

Open Google
Double click the blank search field
If you have made searches, a drop down menu will appear

INDIVIDUAL search entries can be cleared by the following:

Highlight the entry, and Mouse over
DO NOT CLICK SELECT OR ENTER
With the entry highlighted, press shift+delete ( shift and delete at the same time)

That search entry will be cleared.

Hi all, I ended up installing new browser.

Thanks everyone for your help. Extra big thanks to Techgirl.

First and last time I look on a naughty site!

And oy, dave, I am not a pervert! lol
Hi trinny im glad your ok x
im back i think lol
If you have the google bar, one of the icons is a sort of little black star with a magnifying glass. If you point at it, it says "Google bar options"
Click that
On the left, click miscellaneous
Uncheck the box (on the right) "Preserve history across browser sessions"
Click OK, and close the browser.
Wehn you start the browser again, the history should be gone.
