Problems logging into Hotmail & Ebay

Whenever I try to log into my hotmail an error message comes up saying "incorrect username or password please check details and try again". Also when I try logging into my ebay, after I've entered my user name and password it just returns to the signin page with the usename and password fields blank. This only happens on my parents pc, I can log into hotmail/ebay on any other pc, so I know the info I'm using is correct. Any ideas please? PLEASE.....its really frustrating

Is caps lock on permanently on your parents' PC?
Your password will be case sensitive on hotmail and Ebay.

Might be worth clearing out the temporary internet files folder and also deleting cookies incase theres multiple entries conflicting with each other.

Open internet explorer and go to tools then on the general tab just delete files then delete cookies.

Happens to me sometimes and this fixes it.

Also worth noting that Ebay only holds a cookie for your username and not your password, thats why you have to sign in all the time.

Could be your keyboard layout is incorrect.

To test this open word or notepad and type the @ if it comes out as " or some other symbol then your keyboard layout needs changing so that the symbols on you keyboard are actually what the computer sees
