Changing ISP

Could someone advise me on answerbank please,I have been on AOL for six years and am thinlking of going to another ISP because AOL keeps on cutting me off when I'm doing things on the comp.Also I was promised faster speed in June as a valued customer but I have been told that will not happen now until August.

I am thinking about BT has anybody got any ideas.
