This may sound kinda stupid but this has kept me from my desired movies and tv shows for to long now

lately i hav went on alot of programs on tv links but when i get onto it, it comes up with an error saying "video not found on the server" but when i went to my friends house and i tried the tv program it worked. do i need to download some kind of codec or something to make the video work cause this one has been puzzling me for ages.

id be happy with any help a person can give me

A couple of suggestions, no guarantees.

1. Try viewing them with a different browser - if you use IE try Firefox, and vice versa.

2. Try a different firewall - your firewall could be the culprit. I can recommend either ZoneAlarm or Comodo, both free. If you already use something like that, try disabling it (whilst offline) and enabling the Windows firewall.


If neither work, we'll try something else.

Umm well i hav just tried doing that internet explorer thing you said for me to do but it still came up with the error 404 ad stuff. When i went to my friends house he was using Internet Explorer however even when i tried it at home it didnt work
