Outlook express 6 (arghhhhhhh)

O/S windows xp
Can send emails no trouble at all but when I try and check to see if i`ve any new emails it tries to connect (but cant) and then comes up with the following-
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'mail.btinternet.com', Server: 'mail.btinternet.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

Any ideas on whats causing this problem

Sorry, it's just Microsoft at work. I'd advise you switch to Mozilla Firefox and use there outlook express clone Thunderbird... it's sweet, fast, reliable and good to look at.
