hi, ive created a website and want to know if anyone knows of any free advertising icould use ive submitted it to search engines. thanks

Google adwords - like those that appear on the right hand side of this page. You just add a few lines of html to your page where you want it to appear. Doesn't cost you anything and I think you get paid per click.

That won't of course advertise your web site, but will allow others to advertise on yours!
