when i go to an email link it freezes then after a couple of mins i get about 60 boxes appearing on the bottom task bar.dont know if its corrupt or not ,can any body advice

im with outlook express
i normaly get about 60 boxes appear ,saying internet explorer
i only click on the link once

It might be that your browser doesn't know what to use to open an email link.

In Internet Explorer got to

Tools -> Internet Options then select the Programs Tab.

There should be an option that let's you specify the Email program as Outlook Express

What software are you using - XP, Explorer 6/7, Office 2003/7? Does it happen on all webpages?

Do you get an error message to the effect that 'the default mail client is not properly installed'

Are you happy to edit the registry?
