Hi

I sent my father in law some pics for him to take out the redeye, when he sent them back to me, i tried to save them using the save as option on right clicking the pics, it says "the system cannot find the file specified"

Can someone suggest an alternative on as to how i can download these pictures please, i do have a copy of office 2003 somewhere if i need to do it that way.

Thanks

Have you tried to save them via the paperclip?

he has actually put them in the email so there is no paperclip
MMmmm.... even embedded pics can be saved, on mine anyway.

Ask your FIL to send them in a compressed folder.

Failing that here is a long way around if you can see the actual pics. Scroll each up so you can see the whole pic on the screen, alter the size of your view screen if needed. Then do a screensave - press the PrtScn key - open up the Paint program and go to tab Edit and click paste. You should now see a pic of your whole screen. Save that as a bmp or jpg image to your desktop and from there you can crop and edit it with the photo editor you usually use.
It would seem he has sent them to you in his particular photo suite file type, after he had removed the red eye from the photos.

Could you not ask him to do them again for you and this time save them as a JEPG file, and then send them back to you?
