YouTube problem

Over the last couple of days, I'm getting the following error when I try to watch YouTube

You either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player.

Trying to download a new version of Adobe Player, just continually takes me back to the download page

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/downlo ad.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

And, i'm sure I haven't changed any internet settings.

Any advice please ?
