Outlook Express Address Book

Our computer fried. Hard disc is not accessible. The new one has Vista which no longer has OE, so how can I get my Email address book back? Can I even?

If your old pc is fried then no your old address book has gone I'm afraid, unless you made a backup somewhere else.
If I remember correctly Vista uses Windows Mail which as far as I can see is OE with a name change!

Me, I'd try fitting the old hard drive into your new computer and see if it can be read. I've done this successfully - twice!

Thank-you both. I am waiting for a technical wizard to remove the old drive and fit it into an ICY Box to see if we can retrieve all the data on it.
